You ARE Enough.

How many times have you thought “I am not smart, motivated. attractive, witty, patient, determined … fill in the blank, enough?”  We compare ourselves to others, how they look, what they achieve, and fail to give ourselves the acknowledgement that we are living our lives in our own way and we are enough.   Yes, YOU are enough!

I once had a client who shared the following quote.  “Perfection is just a form of self abuse.” I had to think about that for a moment but realized that is so. There is no such thing as perfect, so it’s time to release the pressure and stop striving for perfection.   Striving for perfection really equates to (yet again) telling yourself that you aren’t good enough as you are. Don’t fall into the trap of allowing others to define whether you are good enough.  Do not allow our culture to set the standard for whether you are enough. Live each day and check that you are genuinely living your life in your truth and then know that you are enough!
